Terry Richardson Shoots Lady Gaga for May’s Harpers Bazaar!

Q: After winning Grammys, wrestling Madonna on Saturday Night Live, and after gracing a bazillion magazine covers, did she feel pressure to conform to Hollywood pop culture norms?

A “I had all these number-one records, and I had sold all these albums, and it was sort of this turning point: Am I going to try and embrace Hollywood and assimilate to that culture?” she said. “I put my toe in that water, and it was a Kegel-exercise vaginal reaction where I clenched and had to retract immediately… I ran furiously back to New York, to my old apartment, and I hung out with my friends, and I went to the same bars.”

My New Vintage THINGS!

If you are ever in London I do recommend a visit to Spitafield and Brick Lane for some of the best vintage shopping ever! Both areas accommodate for young up-and-coming designers and fashion forward funky fashionistas. I found the most amazing vintage brand shop with second hand everything, from Marc Jacobs to Prada. Everything if you convert to Rands is approximately R1000 and you tend to drool when you walk in! I bought the most stylish pair of vintage Tony Burgh shoes. And two bags, an old authentic basket, which is hard to find these days and a leather crafted holiday bag! Continue reading
