More from Cassis
We spent a few days in Cassis again, and I still am in love with the little French seaside village. I have written about it before here. This time, we were there on a Friday, which meant we could enjoy the street market. I got a few really great purchases which I will write about a little later (I am on holiday so I’m trying to write a little less). I cannot begin to explain how cool the clothes are at the market: there is definitely something for everyone. I think that, on my way home, my baggage is certainly going to be over-weight – oh dear! Arthur Elgort Receives Board of Directors Award
The photographer Arthur Elgort changed the way the common man relates to fashion. Instead of depicting models as perfect swans with their heads tilted just so, or as haughty mannequins both inaccessible and unbelievable, he turned a journalistic eye on them and their impractical clothes. A few inspiring picture of stylish mums on the school run. Never over the top to attract too much attention, but definitely fashionista enough for some to take notice. When I was younger my friends and I would always say that we would be the most stylish mums ever. I reckon I might go Ugg boots and track suit pants vibe when it happens! Britain’s Royal Family at the Derby Festival
Looks like everyone made an effort and dressed up at this year’s Derby Festival. Prince Harry and Prince William looked magnificent in their top hats. Kate Middleton is looking very skinny after the wedding, but is ever so classic in white. The Queen stood out in her bright pink frock and looked very dashing, as usual. Beatrice and Eugenie took it down a notch after creating such hype with their hats at the wedding, but both look very gorgeous indeed! What a fun day!
