If you were not aware of this market take my advice, go check it out and have a taste of the 60’s and 70’s. Not only do the clothes fit this era, but the location, the building, the music and the people all work together to create this awesome vibe.
The City Bowl Market on Hope at first just focused on providing amazing food and fresh produce, but recently they took their market to a new unique level by deciding to host a vintage clothing section once a month and this is what makes this market stand out and will keep people coming back for more. Stores such as Reincarnation, Babette Clothing, Afrodite and The Mint Collection all have a stall with some of their best vintage items they have to offer at amazing prices. Vintage clutch bags, leather sling bags, “granny” polka dot dresses, “grandpa” cardigans, belts and hair accessories are but a few of the items you could find in this clothing section.
Lolavie Clothing is also showcased at this market, and it suits everyone’s style whether it is vintage or fashion forward you are looking for. They have a good combination of new and old, seeing that all the items can be paired with something new or old to create a certain look, and the great thing about this is that it is open weekly from 9am-3pm.
This market is definitely something to put on your to-do list and your closet will thank you for visiting, seeing that I know all of you will be going home with something vintage and unique.

went to this market for the first time this past weekend – i’m a HUGE lover of vintage as was over the moon to be able to add 4 new pieces to my collection! then i grab a little mexican beer and headed down to the court yard to chill in the sun! loved the whole experience and will defs be going again
