The idea with this trend is to see make up straight from the runway out on the streets. The dramatic summer look is colours that is quite unusual from your normal make up palette, but still very daring. It is bright and colour blocking does not only count for clothes, use it on your face! Focus on the eyes this season and try different looks such as the “Amy Winehouse” cat eye but with a twist by making it a bright colour instead of black, or do a smokey eye with dramatic coloured eye shadows.
If you want to go for the “out there” make up look but still want to be soft,elegant and romantic do rosy lips and pink cheeks with a sheer lipgloss, or if you are not the creative type that likes to experiment, try the new “eye gloss” look.
Then there is a new look that recently got a name and we call it the “Denim Look”. This make up trend is perfect if you want to be fashionable and it works for everyone. Blondes, brunettes, blue eyes, green eyes, brown eyes – everyone can pull this off. You can either go extreme with all the denim blue eyeshadows or you could go more natural by using a deep blue eyeliner and mascara.
