Street Style – Cape Town

To walk the streets of Cape Town is one of my favourite ways to spend my time. Looking out for fashion forward street walkers, and admiring peoples personal style is so interesting and many times it gives me ideas of how I can adjust my own look. Here are a few of my favourite outfits that I just could not resist sharing with you.

What I like about all these looks, is that everyone is completely different, but they still pull off the same type of style. Look out for lots of denim, leather, lace and chino’s! If you look at the couple above, it is all about looking old school. This fashionista lady is bringing out some Amy Winehouse with her colourful scarf tied on her head- very cool. Romeo on the left is rocking his chino’s and his denim shirt and those shoes?? Definitely makes the outfit stand out.

The “I Love NY” lady is the owner of a vintage shop called Reincarnation and her style is simple but still quite out there. She is working the “musician” look with her hat and grey waterfall cardigan.  Her blue clutch bag still makes the look very modern and fashionable.

This fashion student went for the “bad ass” look and it suits her. Not all girls can pull off high waisted denim shorts or crop tops but she made it work. Love how she paired a leather jacket with her look which is always a YES when you are going biker for the day!

This streetwalker really stood out in a cool printed jersey with a brown belt and ripped grandpa jeans. His glasses definitely help in creating this unique look.

This fashion designer is inspired by the “schoolgirl” look. Her accessories paired with this outfit create a very modern vibe and it is interesting, yet fashionable.

This girl designed her own party dress and is also the designer of the label Blackrose Bouquet. The heart-shaped back makes it interesting and her leather sling bag gives the outfit a different edgy look.

Keep dressing fashionable to make sure you appear on Popyacollar!
