The store has the style and flavour you need to spice up your look and make sure you are also seen as one of the cool, trendy fashion streetwalkers.
The Lot is based in Claremont and also in Kloof Street Gardens and has a big variety of vintage and high fashion designs by many designers. The store is divided into the cool guy section and the fashionable girl section and both have many different styles and accessories to create an entirely new look.
Blackrose Bouquet is a new name in fashion, and has brought a whole new style to life. It focuses on trendy, fashion forward street style, but has that touch of glamour to make a statement. The new summer range is romantic, feminine and soft but has that pop of colour you need to brighten up your wardrobe.
Heather Anne Horton is the young designer of Blackrose Bouquet clothing. She is a fashion design student who loves making clothes and sees fashion as a world of its own. I am in London at the moment staying on Oxford Street shopping up a storm. Not much time to take photos, although managed to take this pic. The Locknville brothers, Andrew and Brian Chaplin are not only known for their interesting voices in the music industry, but they are also definitely original in their dress code . All our street fashionistas can definitely use their style as inspiration seeing that it is trendy and edge all at the same time.
Their music career had its big break in 2010 with the track “Sun in my pocket” and they also won the MK award for Best Newcomers in that same year. What you might not have known, is that they are related to comic actor, film director and composer, Charlie Chaplin, so I guess great talent runs in the family! Continue reading
