The fashionistas, journalists and society girls of Cape Town flocked to the launch of Scalini’s Resort and Swimwear collection on Thursday night to get a sneak peek at the latest offerings. As guests made their way up the red carpet they were treated to a view of beautiful models standing in the shop window showcasing some of the new Melissa Odabash bikini range. The models whose hair was done by Mario’s Company for Hair and make up by Claire Hills looked absolutely stunning as they posed for pictures and showcased the brightly coloured bikinis. De Grendel Rose and Conjure Cognac cocktails were the welcome drinks of choice as guests made their way through the 4 level boutique to the roof top where they enjoyed the spectacular views of Table Mountain and the city as the sun dipped behind the mountain.
Guests got the chance to browse through the many levels of designer clothes, shoes and handbags while being assisted by the helpful Scalini staff. After working up an appetite with all the shopping, guests nibbled on delicious bite size canapes and chatted to the owner Sacha and Preeti about the top new trends.
