The 84th Academy Awards took place early this morning in LA and the big question on our lips is who looked the best? Lots of white and bling with the occasional fashion theatrics in-between. Not as much boobs hanging out as there was at the Golden Globes – I think the stars got the memo this year that we wanted elegance at its finest. Gwyneth Paltrow looked by far the best wearing a Tom Ford oyster coloured gown. (Click through to view gallery) Angelina Jolie looked very dramatic wearing a black velvet gown with thigh high split. Not sure about this dress, I think it would have looked better without her leg sticking out all the time.
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo star Rooney Mara looked beautiful wearing a flowing white gown by Givenchy and, my second favourite was Michelle Williams in a bright coral colour gown by Louis Vuitton.
