Dermalogica on Wembley (DOW) will be playing host to an exciting new event concept set to take place the first Friday and Saturday of every month from July onwards. Blink Boutique is a once a month pop-up store selling clothing and jewelry from various South-African designers. The very first of this range of events will be launched at DOW on Friday, 6 July 2012 and Saturday, 7 July 2012.
The Blink Boutique pop-up store events will be a unique shopping experience with various collaborations and value added deals. Each event will consist of various SA designers showcasing their ranges, complimentary face mapping and DYI facial sessions by dermalogica specialists, as well as snacks and beverages throughout the day. At Blink Boutique you’ll find everything from swimwear, coats and jackets, a huge variety of dress styles, tops and trousers… all made in South Africa.
The 11 designers showcasing their ranges on the day include: Beautiful Maverick, Bittersweet, Coco Lifstyle, Coppelia, Good Clothing, Label Collections, R.C. House, Marique Yssel, Silk Orchid, Spilt Milk, Sun Sugar, and Sway. Garments will be priced between R100.00 and R850.00, but there will also be a Blink Treat rail with very low discounted prices for those shopping on a budget this month.
Blink Boutique is created by three crazy ladies who have been friends forever and finally decided to share their dreams, creativity and style. “All three of us are proudly South-African and so excited to offer the Blink Boutique platform to local designers”, says Clarisa Nel. “The talent this country has to offer is insane”.
Blink Boutique is also giving back to the community via their ‘Blink-more’ give-a-little project. The goal is to support a different charity at each event with the help of Blink Boutique customers. At the first pop-up store, Blink Boutique will be gathering teddy bears for Grootte Schuur Hospital Children’s Ward. There will be a teddy bear donation box where the shoppers can donate teddy bears, new or old.

DIY Facial session: 1h00pm – 2h00pm
Each session can accommodate only 10 ladies at a time, thus booking in advance is essential.
