CLOTHING DNA
Sharp tailoring that sculpts the body is softened by playful, voluminous silhouettes. Clean and sleek minimal lines meet an explosion of ruffles and feminine details while neutral nudes, blacks, grays and white are contrasted with a dash of saturated color or simply worn monotone from head to toe to dramatic effect.
COLLECTION INSPIRATION
“Ruff Tung’s collection takes its inspiration from the yin-yang symbol, exploring balance and harmony both from a spiritual point of view as well as aesthetically. The relative opposition between the masculine and the feminine and the love between a man and a woman that is never static and always transforming each other are the same qualities I have found in the cultures of the Orient and the tribal cultures of Africa. In this collection I have blended together all the imagery and emotion that was generated from this inspiration into a collection that something for everyone – functional and wearable with a dash of whimsy thrown in for good measure.”
