DeDevelopment of Office 2010 started in 2006 while Microsoft was finishing work on microsoft office 2010 professional, released as Microsoft Office 2007. It was previously thought that Office 2010 (then called Office 14) would ship in the first half of 2009; however it is officially announced that Office 2010 will ship infree microsoft office 2007. Microsoft also officially confirmed that the business launch foroffice 2010 business is on May 12. Consumers will not be able to purchase the product until June. In January Microsoft announced Office 2010 pricing. Office 2010 will be released in at least five different flavors, including a free version that includes Microsoft Word and Excel, but comes with limited functionality and includes advertisements. The editions of office 2010 home and business will include Starter, Home and Student, Home and Business, Professional and Professional Academic.Features – Microsoft Office 2010 will include updated support for the ISO/IEC compliant version of OOXML.
