Now the 31-year-old Paré talks to New York magazine about what everyone wants to know about the most: her teeth.

“Weiner found himself drawn to Paré’s gap-toothed smile. Her teeth are so distinctive he even wrote a scene in which Megan recalls being told she could never be an actress because of them. Paré doesn’t understand all the fuss. ‘I forget about them because they’re in my face and they do their job just great. I never get anything stuck in them.’ (For the record, the camera must add ten pounds to each tooth, because in person she’s a knockout.)”

Anna Wintour banned reality TV star Kim Kardashian from Monday night’s Met Costume Institute Gala, according to a report. Kardashian, 31, was conspicuously absent from Kanye West’s arm on the red carpet of the event. Now, Radar Online reports that Kardashian’s name stayed off the guest list as a direct edict from the Vogue editor-in-chief, who hosts the evening and approves every star who enters.

“Anna hates Kim,” a source told the gossip website. “Why would she be invited to the event? It is all the biggest stars in the world and Kim doesn’t fit that bill at all.”
Kardashian had tweeted just hours before the ball, “So excited to see all the fashion going on in New York tonight at the MET!” The post led many to believe that she would be attending. But the attention-loving star did not make it down the red carpet beside beau West, who wore a classic tux. ”Kim and her camp will deny that she wasn’t invited by saying that she had business in LA, but that is a lie. She would have done anything to be there with all the A-listers,” the source added. “The Met Gala is $25,000 a ticket, but Kim couldn’t even buy her way in.” Last week, the New York Post revealed exclusively that Sports Illustrated cover girl Kate Upton had paid her own way to the ball, writing a check and handing it to Wintour personally.

Italian luxury label Dolce & Gabbana has sued Dolce & Banana - a little Gift Boutique in Hout Bay for  “objectionable conduct” and “diluting” the luxury brand’s name. Cristiana Ruella, a board member of Gado, filled a 300 page affidavit filed in the Cape Town High Court alleging that “The name Dolce and Banana makes a mockery of the well-known trademark Dolce & Gabbana,”.

Mijou Beller, the store owner, who built her 12-year old business fashioning beads, shells and wood into neck pieces and bracelets, has since rebranded her store to …& Banana! The luxury giants are still demanding she settles $13,200 in legal fees.

The Costume Institute Gala held at the New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art is excessively referred to as “fashion’s Oscars,” and the Ministry is always proud to see our Hollywood favorites bring their sartorial A-game.

Monday evening saw another year of major celeb presence for the annual fete, this year showcasing “Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations,” the museum’s new exhibition.
